I am not going to start this article with the narrative that boudoir is for all body types including plus-size women. And do you want to know why? Because my curvy clients are some of the most confident, in love with themselves, women I have ever met! I do not need to preach to the plus-size crowd that y’all are worthy of doing a boudoir shoot and it is not just for the skinny gals because y’all are already killing it in the boudoir scene.
All Women All Day
What I do want to talk about is how much I love photographing all women, all body types, ages, skin tones, everything that makes women different and unique is what makes my job so interesting and fun. Every single person on this earth is unique. It is so incredible to witness the beauty that each person has. To capture a glimpse of this on paper to hold that moment in time forever is just amazing to me.
Celebrate Your Body
I talk a lot on my blog about empowering women and how my sessions help women see themselves in a whole new light and I believe in this 1000%. In boudoir, we honor the body. Every curve, dimple, and arch are like art to us, forming the masterpiece that is you!
Boudoir sessions celebrate your beauty and essence like never before. It knows one can’t exist without the other, delving deep into the nuances of sexuality, femininity, and everything that makes you – you!
Be Pampered
While every boudoir session is different and caters to each woman’s level of comfort and ease – she is still the center of attention. It’s truly her moment in the spotlight, having every single part of her admired, and absolutely loved by the camera – and that’s all before she even sees the final result!
Pose Coaching
Even the most confident of women have an area or body part they don’t particularly love. I am a master at posing and will highlight your best assets all while minimizing the things you do not love. Even though my wish is for every woman to embrace every little piece of themselves. I also know this is a tall order and most women have at least one body part/area they wish to conceal. If I could wave a magic wand I would change this outlook for women to complete and utterly self-love.
