As a boudoir photographer, I have the privilege of not only capturing the beauty of my clients but also getting to know them on a deeper level. Many of my clients share their life stories with me, and I’m often left in awe of their resilience and strength.
These stories are not just about their experiences in front of the camera; they are about their journeys as women. They are about the challenges they have faced, the obstacles they have overcome, and the growth they have experienced.
As women, we can learn so much from each other’s stories. We can find inspiration, hope, and empowerment in the experiences of others. That’s why I believe it’s important to share these stories, to amplify the voices of women who have faced incredible challenges and come out the other side stronger and more confident.
In the coming months, I will be sharing some of the most inspiring stories from my clients. These women have faced a wide range of challenges, from body image issues and self-doubt to abusive relationships and traumatic experiences. But despite all of this, they have found the courage to embrace their beauty and celebrate their bodies.
My hope is that these stories will inspire other women to do the same, embrace their unique beauty, and recognize their own strength and resilience. I believe that every woman deserves to feel confident and empowered, and I hope that through these stories, we can inspire each other to do just that.

Reclaiming Confidence
I used to think I was in love with him. That he was the one who would make me happy, but I was wrong. I was in a toxic and abusive relationship, and he constantly belittled me and told me I was ugly and worthless. Over time, his words chipped away at my self-esteem and confidence until I didn’t even recognize myself anymore.
It wasn’t until two years ago that I finally found the strength to break away from him. It was the hardest thing I ever did, but it was also the most liberating. I started my healing journey, seeking therapy, and trying to rediscover who I was before he tore me down.
But even after all the work I did on myself, I still struggled with my body image. I felt ugly and unattractive, and I couldn’t shake the negative thoughts that plagued me. That was until I heard about boudoir shoots and how they could help with self-esteem.
At first, I was nervous and unsure, but I decided to give it a try. I booked a shoot with Critsey and went in with an open mind. I was hesitant at first, but she made me feel comfortable and confident, and it was like I was a new person.
When I received the photos, I was blown away. I couldn’t believe that the woman in those pictures was me. For the first time in years, I saw myself as beautiful and worthy of love. I finally began to appreciate my body and all that it had been through. The photos were a symbol of my healing journey, a testament to my strength and resilience.
Looking back now, I can say with certainty that the boudoir shoot changed my life. It gave me the confidence to start dating again, and I found a partner who loved and respected me for who I am. I no longer feel trapped by my past, and I am excited about my future. I am proud of the woman I have become, and I know that I am beautiful inside and out. ~Jaimee Lee
