Hey gorgeous,
Can we have a real talk for a second?
There’s something I need to tell you, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart:
You are worth so much more than anyone will ever make you feel.
I’ve been a boudoir photographer for over a decade, and during that time, I’ve seen a lot of things—but the most heartbreaking thing I see again and again is how little credit women give themselves. We give and give and give—to our partners, our kids, our jobs, our friends—but when it comes to showing up for ourselves? We hesitate. We question whether we’re “worthy” of doing something just for us.
Well, let me tell you right now—you are. And it’s time to take the reins. To love yourself deeply. To empower yourself without waiting for anyone else’s permission. To be free in your body, in your spirit, in your story.

Waiting for Permission? Stop Right There.
You know what breaks my heart? Hearing women say, “I’ll book a session once I lose 10 pounds,” or “Maybe when I’m in a better place,” or “I want to do something like this, but I’m not confident enough.”
Girl, that kind of thinking only delays your joy. Life is not a dress rehearsal—it’s happening right now. You don’t need to be smaller, younger, or more polished to be worthy of being celebrated. You already are.
You don’t need permission to love yourself. You don’t need validation from anyone else. You are allowed to show up for you, just as you are. That’s what empowerment looks like.
Take the Reins and Rewrite the Story
When I created Couture Boudoir®, I wanted to offer something so much more than just pretty photos. Sure, the final images are stunning (and I mean STUNNING), but the real transformation happens behind the scenes. It starts the moment you decide that you’re worthy of being seen, celebrated, and captured in all your raw, real beauty.
Taking the reins doesn’t mean you need to have it all figured out. It just means choosing yourself. Trusting yourself. Doing something bold, something beautiful, something just for you.
A boudoir session is one of the most powerful ways I’ve seen women reclaim their stories. It’s not about being “sexy” for someone else. It’s about being free. It’s about finally saying, “This is me. I’m enough. I love who I am.”

You Are Allowed to Love Yourself
Why is it that as women, we’re made to feel guilty for loving ourselves? For taking up space? For daring to feel beautiful, strong, sensual, powerful?
We grow up hearing all kinds of messages about how we “should” look or act. But guess what? You don’t have to shrink yourself to make others comfortable. You don’t need to hide your curves or silence your voice.
When you love yourself, you give others permission to do the same. You become an example. A light. And it starts with that first decision to show up as your authentic self.
Boudoir isn’t about pretending. It’s about uncovering. It’s about looking in the mirror and saying, “Damn, I didn’t realize how amazing I really am.” It’s about rediscovering that fire inside of you that’s been there all along.
Your Freedom Is Waiting
There’s something incredibly liberating about stepping into your own power. I see it in the studio all the time—women walk in with butterflies and walk out like they could take on the world.
I’ve seen women cry tears of joy when they view their final images, because for the first time, they’re seeing themselves the way they deserve to be seen—not through a critical lens, but through one of self-compassion and strength.
Imagine feeling that kind of freedom. The freedom to stop comparing yourself to others. The freedom to feel beautiful without justification. The freedom to own your body, your story, your desires.
It’s not just about photographs. It’s about healing. It’s about transformation. It’s about saying, “I am here, and I matter.”

This Is Your Moment
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to do something bold, this is it.
Whether you’ve just gone through a breakup, a big birthday, a life transition, or you’re simply ready to fall in love with yourself again—this experience is for you. It’s a celebration of everything you’ve survived, everything you are, and everything you’re becoming.
I know stepping in front of the camera can feel intimidating. But I’ll be with you every step of the way. I’ll guide you through the entire process—what to wear, how to pose, how to breathe through the nerves. I promise you will feel safe, seen, and stunning.
You’ll walk away with more than just gorgeous images. You’ll walk away with a deeper connection to yourself. You’ll walk away feeling powerful, radiant, and free.
And let me tell you—there is no better feeling than that.
So stop waiting. You don’t need anyone else to hand you the keys. Take them. Open the door. Step into the light.
You’re worth it.
xo,
Critsey
